Armenia’s national football (soccer) team moved up one place today in the latest round of FIFA rankings and is currently at 59th place (shared with New Zealand at 517 points).
Russia, on the other hand, has dropped 3 places and is no longer in the top 10. At 1,003 points, Russia is in 13th place.
The team losing to Armenia last month, Slovakia, have moved up 2 places to 18th place (866 points), while Ireland is keeping steady at 32nd place (730 points).
Yet another team that has competed against Armenia in the Euro 2012 qualifiers, Macedonia, dropped 6 points and is currently at 76th place (439 points).
Topping the FIFA list this month is Spain (1,920 points), followed by the Netherlands, Brazil, Germany, Argentina, England, Uruguay, Portugal, Croatia and Egypt, which rounds out the top 10.
