Armenian Soldier Jumps Out the Window on First Day of Service

A few days ago, another incident of a death in Armenia’s armed forces during a non-combat period was recorded, reports local daily Jamanak (“Times”).

One of the young men recently called to service committed suicide in a military unit in Lusakert. The young recruit, who only served in the army for one day, jumped out of a window, but not before saying he didn’t want to serve in the army. The daily notes that there is yet no official statement from Armenia’s Ministry of Defense.
