No Violations of Ceasefire During NKR-Azerbaijan Border Monitoring

On Dec. 2, in accordance with the earlier achieved agreement with the NKR (Nagorno-Karabakh) authorities, the OSCE mission conducted а regular monitoring of the line of contact of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the Askeran direction, reads a press release by the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs office.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Coordinator of the OSCE Office Lieutenant-Colonel Imre Palatinus (Hungary) and Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chair-in-Office Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria).

From Azerbaijan’s position, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chair-in-Office Antal Herdich (Hungary) and William Pryor (Great Britain).

The monitoring passed in accordance with the planned schedule. No violation of the cease-fire regime was registered during the monitoring. 

The monitoring mission from the Karabakh side was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs.
