The Bambir Performs in Istanbul in Defense of Human Rights

On Dec. 6, local Armenian rock band The Bambir will have a concert with Turkish band Bajar in Istanbul in defense of human rights.

This joint concert ahead of Human Rights Day on Dec. 10 was initiated by Amnesty International. The concert will take place in Istanbul’s Babylon. 

“Bringing together urban music with Middle Eastern sound and Kurdish music, Bajar and Bambir goes [sic] after a hybrid manner to satisfy their concerns. Their works hails punk and black music’s tradition of protest,” reads the event notice on the club’s official website.
