It’s not yet clear whether the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Armenia or not, said Armenian Public TV Executive Director Gagik Buniatyan at a press conference in Yerevan today.
Chair of Armenia’s Public TV and Radio Company Council Alexan Harutyunyan, also at today’s press conference, said large financial resources are necessary to hold such an event.
Furthermore, unlike the Eurovision song contest, according to the rules of Junior Eurovision, it’s not obligatory that the winning country host the final stage.
Recall that the winner of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest was Karabakh-born Vladimir Arzumanyan representing Armenia.
