Public Shouldn’t be Concerned with Officials’ Behavior: Armenian MP

The public can be concerned with one thing: as much as possible, the public has to provide its potential for the development of the country, not to beating (hitting) or not beating, said Prosperous Armenia MP Vardan Postanjyan, in response to a journalist’s question on what his opinion is on firing officials concerning the public.

“I myself haven’t been present in any such process. I have spoken about it, that there has to be order, rules, supremacy of the law, there has to be equality before the law. Basically, this act, which we came in contact with and saw, was clear for all citizens and officials: this was something like a sign for us not to all of a sudden imagine that in the case of straying, we are allowed everything,” he said.

The deputy emphasized that they (that is, officials) are citizens who must live and work in a regulated and outlined domain, and not do that which shouldn’t be done.
