Name of Yerevan’s New Mayor will be Known on Dec. 17

An extraordinary meeting of Yerevan City Council, chaired by acting Yerevan mayor, First Vice Mayor Taron Margaryan took place at 11 am today, Dec. 13.

There was only one issue on the agenda today, to choose the date for appointing the Armenian capital’s mayor. 

According to a unanimous board decision, a Yerevan City Council meeting will take place on Dec. 17 at 11 am where council members will elect a Yerevan mayor, reports the Yerevan City Council information and public relations department.
