Armenia’s Champion Team to Play Off Against Ararat or Shirak

The draw for the 2011 Armenia Cup, as well as the draw of participating teams in the Armenia Premier League, took place on Dec. 14 at the Football Federation of Armenia headquarters. 

Nine teams will compete for the 2011 Cup: Pyunik, Banants, Ulysses, Mika, Impuls, Gandzasar, Kilikia, Shirak and Ararat. In accordance with the rules of procedure, the team which was in last place last season (FC Shirak) and the team which secured first place in Group A (FC Ararat) play off against each other in the 1/8 final, the winner of which will join the next round of participating teams.

The matches are as follows:

1/4 final:

Shirak/Ararat – Pyunik

Banants – Gandzasar

Ulysses – Kilikia

Mika – Impuls

1/2 final:

Ulysses/Kilikia vs. Pyunik/Shirak/Ararat

Mika/Impuls vs. Banants/Gandzasar
