Ashotyan Comments on Possibility of his Resignation

RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, speaking to journalists in Yerevan today, brought up the possibility of his resignation.

“If I don’t meet the standards put before me, then I too won’t work in the position of minister,” he said. 

Ashotyan was responding to a statement that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan made during an event to mark the 20th anniversary of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) that all officials who don’t meet the standards set by the government will be let go.
