Coalition cooperation at this time continues effectively, said Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Secretary Eduard Sharmazanov.
Asked about internal disputes in the coalition which arose this year, Sharmazanov said, a “civilized struggle is normal.”
“Without competition, we can’t expect to make progress, and it’s quite normal when this or that political force wants to get more votes in elections. However, that has to be decided by Republic of Armenia citizens,” he said.
The HHK member also stressed that no coalition is “eternal”; they are formed around various programs in order to implement them.
“The Republican [Party] finds that the coalition is currently working effectively, and I don’t wish to turn my attention to other rumors because both Mr. Tsarukyan [leader of Prosperous Party, chair of the coalition] has talked about these rumors and the president clearly noted the effectiveness of the coalition,” he concluded.
