The military doctrines of six Caucasian states — Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey and Iran — will be translated into Azerbaijani and Russian, and perhaps English.
The translations will be communicated to the Azeri public and experts so that Azerbaijani citizens can clearly picture the potential military threats coming from neighbors, said Chair of the Association of Reserve and Retired Officers Yashar Jafarli.
Recall that Azerbaijan approved a military doctrine last year which identified Armenia as a potential enemy.
The results of the research will be discussed in Baku with representatives of the six countries, presumably with their ambassadors and plenipotentiaries. Planned as part of the project is visits by experts to the aforementioned countries, with the aim of meeting with military experts from those countries.
