Azerbaijan’s Parliamentary Vice-Speaker Threatens Possible War in Karabakh

The Nagorno-Karabakh war has not ended and the international community should know that hostilities may resume at any time, said Azerbaijan’s Parliamentary Vice-Speaker Bahar Muradova, reports various Azeri press.

“In line with recommendations of international organizations, Azerbaijan continues its participation in negotiation processes and is trying to resolve the Karabakh conflict peacefully.

“But Azerbaijan continues military training because the world never settles accounts with a weak country,” Muradova told reporters Thursday.
According to her, without economic and military assistance, Azerbaijan will not be able to strengthen its positions in negotiations and other processes.

“Azerbaijan has reached significant achievements in the military sector, as well as in other fields. We are thus demonstrating to the opposite side that Azerbaijan will never accept the loss of its lands and the creation of the second Armenian state in its territory. This attempt will be averted by all means and even through war if necessary,” Muradova said.
