Japanese-headquartered cosmetics company Shiseido will be launching its prestige skin care and make-up lines in Belarus and Armenia as part of its global expansion strategy, reports Cosmetics Design Europe.
Earlier this year the company announced it would be targeting the Balkan Peninsula, promoting its products in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia.
In addition, it has recently begun distribution in South Africa, Georgia and Colombia, claiming that Panama is also under negotiation for early 2011.
The moves are all part of the company’s strategy to be a ‘global player representing Asia with its origins in Japan.’
