The Republic of Armenia Police today published a list of license plate numbers which will be auctioned off on Mar. 9.
The most expensive among them costs 1 million 200 thousand drams (about $3,288 US), to be sold at incremental bids of 120,000 drams (about $329 US).
The following license plate number are among those to be auctioned off: 01 NV 001, 02 DD 002, 05 VV 005, 05 PD 005, 07 UD 007, 09 TL 009, 10 OT 001, 11 DT 111, 22 TT 222, 22 VT 222, 33 TS 333, 40 DD 004.
Cheaper license plate numbers will also be on offer, with starting bids at 600,000 drams (about $1,644 US), 240,000 drams (about $658 US) and 120,000 drams (about $329 US).
The auction kicks off on Mar. 9 at 10 am at the Road Police administration hall. In order to participate in the auction, interested parties must contact the RA Road Police and register themselves as well as the license plate number they’ll be bidding on. Registration is open from Feb. 22, 2011, to 1 pm on Mar. 7, 2011, daily from 10 am to 6 pm, except for Saturdays and Sundays.
