HAK Submits Rally Request to City Hall. Response Expected within 72 Hours

The Armenian National Congress today submitted a request to Yerevan City Hall to hold a rally in Liberty Square on April 8 followed by a march. The usual route for the march is planned: down Mashtots Ave., across Amiryan St. till Republic Square, then up Nalbandyan St. The march will begin at 5 pm and will conclude at Liberty Square, next to the Opera building.

According to law, the municipality must respond to the request for a permit in 72 hours.

Recall, last Friday, Yerevan City Hall refused HAK’s request to hold a rally in Liberty Square on Apr. 4 and 5.
