Political Forces that are Opposition Shouldn't Criticize HAK: Zurabyan
First president of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian National Congress (HAK) leader Levon Ter-Petrossian chaired today's HAK political council meeting.
Discussed during the meeting were preparations for the Apr. 8 rally, and the need for serious mobilization was emphasized, HAK coordinator Levon Zurabyan told Epress.am. Speaking as well about recent infighting within opposition groups, the HAK representative said:
"The authorities are the target of our criticism, and we will do this job till the end and we will be involved in this . We will not deviate from criticizing anyone other than the authorities. And, I think, that the work of the opposition generally has to be that. If any political force is opposition or considers itself to be opposition, then it shouldn't engage in criticizing the Congress; it shouldn't dedicate 90% of its time to criticizing HAK, thus showing what it's actually involved ," he said.
