Sao Paulo wanted to bring the record for the tallest Lego tower to Brazil, and with a little help from a famous friend they managed it, reports Mirror.co.uk.
Children assembled the 500,000 Lego pieces used in the tower, whose height reached 31.19 m (102 feet) and broke the previous record set by the Chilean capital of Santiago by 25 cm (9.8 inches).
The construction of the tower took 4 days.Brazilian football veteran Cafu (Marcos Evangelista de Moraes) laid the last bricks of the tower, built with help from designers sent over by the Danish toy firm.
