Troops loyal to Libyan dictator Colonel Muammar Gaddafi have been accused of raping women to strike terror in rebel forces, reports The Indian Express.
Lebanon’s The Daily Star quoted a Libyan doctor, as saying there has been over 100 cases of rape and Gaddafi has even issued troops with Viagra to fuel their attacks.
A mother of two named as Leila said troops raped her in front of her children.
The 28 year old said: “The soldiers told me they would kill my children. They sneered ‘you or your children.’”
In another attack, soldiers raped four sisters.
