Master’s Degree Scholarships Available for Men Who Completed Military Service in Armenia

For the first time, for the 2011–2012 academic year, there will be scholarships for master’s degrees available for those who have completed their mandatory military service, as well as for defense ministry staff and police officers, reports the RA Ministry of Education and Science press service.

Compared to the 20 free spots available to Nagorno-Karabakh residents last year, this year there will be 30 spots, while the number of free places in art institutions will double: 29 places in theater and cinema state institutions (as compared to 14 last year) and 30 spots in the Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory.

The Armenian government has approved the reimbursement of full tuition by the state for spots in master’s degree programs in RA higher education institutions for the 2011–2012 academic year.
