A group created on Facebook is asking well-known Russian rock singer of Bashkir descent Zemfira to hold a concert in Armenia.
The group, which already has 400 members, is initially attempting to find out how many people would want to see Zemfira in Armenia, and presumably attend a concert in the former Soviet republic.
“Second, we will organize a petition which we will take to Sharm Holding,” write organizers, who hope that Sharm Holding will be able to organize the concert.
Facebook organizers also note that they will appeal to Zemfira in writing, including the petition details.
