March 1 Film Being Sent to Schools. No Response from TV Stations Yet

The documentary film with archival footage depicting the events of Mar. 1–2, 2008, by writer, publicist Tigran Paskevichyan and filmmaker Ara Shirinyan titled “Armenia’s Lost Spring” is being sent to Yerevan school principals, after which it will also be sent to schools outside the Armenian capital.

As previously reported, the film (which is divided in two parts and can be viewed here and here) has already been sent to all TV stations broadcasting in Yerevan, as well as GALA TV and Tsayg in Gyumri, Vanadzor’s Lori TV, and Moscow Cinema in Yerevan, with the suggestion that they find the time to broadcast (or in the case of the theatre, to screen) the film within the month. The letter sent to the aforementioned TV stations and movie theatre notes that the required payment for screening or broadcasting the film will be paid.

Paskevichyan informed Epress.am that he has yet to receive a response.

Note, as well, the film has been sent to the National Assembly addressed to all 131 parliamentarians.
