Bomb Threat at Zvartnots Airport was Fake

The search for a bomb at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan wrapped up late yesterday evening. Officials have said that the bomb threat turned out to be fake and the airport should now be operating as per usual.

Recall, Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations yesterday announced they received a call about a bomb from an unknown individual who called from a landline. All employees were evacuated from the airport and all flights were delayed.

On the scene were employees with the ministry, police, national security staff and defense ministry engineers.
