Yerevan Resident Stole 500,000 Drams of Gold Jewelry from Employer

Yerevan resident Hasmik P., 43, was apprehended by local police on May 25 under suspicion of theft.

It has since become known that from January of this year up until May 25, working as a cleaner at the home of Smbat N., 46, Hasmik occasionally stole gold jewelry, causing around 500,000 drams’ worth of material damage (about $1,351 US).

The loot has been retrieved in part, report local police.
