The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) is accepting registrations for their upcoming Armenian Cause 2.0 conference in Washington, DC. The conference will be held from Jun. 24-27 and includes the tag line “social networks, grassroots power and smart advocacy.”
“Join with Armenian Americans from across the country for a weekend program of compelling presentations, hands-on workshops, and practical training — all designed to empower you as an even more energetic and effective ambassador for the Armenian Cause,” reads the conference description on the ANCA website.
The lavish event includes a welcoming reception at the historic W Hotel rooftop terrace overlooking the White House, a private guided tour and garden reception in the historic home of past US president Woodrow Wilson, a catered evening dinner reception at the Armenian embassy, and a twilight boat cruise along the Potomac.
There will also be presentations on ANCA’s regional and national programs, as well as a presentation on the challenges and opportunities on “the issues” (these are not elaborated upon in the conference schedule).
The cost of the conference is $150 for adults and $75 for students (presumably not including hotel accommodation fees).
