French foreign minister Alain Juppé said it’s sad that despite Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s efforts, neither in Sochi nor in Kazan did the conflicting parties reach an agreement on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Juppé said this himself during an interview with Ekho Moskvy (“Echo of Moscow”) radio station.
At the same time, the French foreign minister doesn’t agree with the opinion that there is no solution to the conflict.
“As far as I know, there will be additional proposals so that it will be possible to reach some sort of agreement on this issue,” he said.
