Poland and Ukraine will simplify border crossings during Euro 2012, said Counsellor at the Polish Embassy Rafal Wolski in Donetsk, Ukraine. According to him, everything will be done to ensure that citizens of both countries will not have to wait at the checkpoints. “There will be only one border crossing on the Polish border; the second checkpoint will be removed; our border services will work together,” he said.
Speaking about preparations for the football championship, Wolski said both countries are doing a lot of work, though they are preparing differently for the finals. There is every reason to believe that the tournament will be held at a high level, he said.
