A huge car accident took place on Khanjyan St. near Vardan Mamikonyan’s statue in downtown Yerevan at around noon today. Four vehicles were involved in the collision: a Ford Transit (license plate 711 SU 42), belonging to local water producer Arar; a no. 7 public transport minibus (license plate 37 54 S); a Honda CR-V (license plate 22 OL 680); and a Niva.
One of the police officers on the scene informed an Epress.am reporter that as a result of the accident, there was one victim — the driver of the Honda has been taken to a Yerevan hospital.
The hospital informed Epress.am that the injured party is 33-year-old Mkhitar Musinyan, who is undergoing tests and whose situation is not critical.
