Vernissage Vendors Forced to Give Up their Places, Says Rights Group

The vendors at the large outdoor market in downtown Yerevan known as Vernissage are being unlawfully asked to give up their spots, according to a group known as the Right to Speech, citing the vendors themselves.

“Those sounding the alarm state that it is handmade art that is being sold in Vernissage; today monopoly and corruption is beginning to reign,” reads the statement issued by the Right to Speech.
