Negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict have stalled because the international community does not put pressure on Armenia, Amanda Paul, a policy analyst with the Brussels-based European Policy Centre, told journalists in Istanbul, reports Aze.az.
According to her, since the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group have not yielded any results and the negotiations process is delayed, Azerbaijan has the right to choose a military solution to the conflict.
Paul noted that Armenia intends to maintain the status quo, as it is quite satisfied with it. In the analyst’s opinion, a fair solution to the Karabakh conflict must be sought in changing the status quo.
