Representatives of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations will be departing on an IL-76 aircraft from Yerevan’s Erebuni airport for the Turkish city of Erzrum between 12–1 pm today. They will be taking with them 40 tons of goods — more than 100 tents, 500 sleeping bags, more than 7,000 pieces of bedding — as Armenia’s contribution in the earthquake relief aid being sent to Turkey from around the world.
Note, this will be the first time in the history of independent Armenia when an aircraft will make a direct flight from Yerevan, Armenia, to Erzrum, Turkey.
