Head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) parliamentary faction Galust Sahakyan, in an interview with RFE/RL’s Armenian service, said that the party plans to run in the 2012 National Assembly elections on its own and not as part of an alliance. The party’s proportional list will be headed by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
