Armenian Catholicos Marks Birthday at Karen Karapetyan’s Restaurant

His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, celebrated his birthday at a lavish restaurant on Saturday, writes local daily 168 Zham (“168 Hours”).

According to the paper, Karekin II marked the occasion at the Florencia restaurant complex, which is one of a string of swanky restaurants located at the Hrazdan gorge and which belongs to former Yerevan mayor Karen Karapetyan.

As reported by the daily, almost the entire political and business elite of Armenia participated in the celebrations.
