Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a telephone conversation on Wednesday with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Admadinejad.
The parties discussed issues pertinent to Admadinejad’s upcoming visit to Armenia.
According to a statement by the Armenian president’s office, the two state leaders spoke also about issues related to bilateral relations. In particular, they exchanged views on the ongoing economic and infrastructure programs.
The statement, however, did not mention who initiated the call.
