The Russian Luge Federation will soon provide the necessary assistance to its colleagues from Armenia in reviving this sport, Russian Luge Federation President Sergey Shvidenko told R-Sport agency.
“Soon we will have another representative in the international luge family — the National Armenian Federation is being revived,” Shvidenko said. “Our colleagues sent an official letter with the request for assistance and support in developing our sport. In the near future, we intend to meet with representatives from Armenia and discuss possible cooperation.”
The agency’s representative added that the Federation is “very interested in seeing a representative of another country in the world community,” reports RIA Novosti.
