During his Moscow visit, Haji Allahshükür Hummat Pashazade Sheikh ul-Islam and Grand Mufti of the Caucasus discussed his possible visit to Yerevan. As reported by 1news.az, he became familiar with the program of the Presidium of the Inter-religious Council of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) meeting, which will be held in Yerevan on Nov. 29–30.
According to the program, quadrilateral documents have been drafted which have to be signed at the meeting by the Sheikh ul-Islam; Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill I; Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II; and Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II. The current chair of the Religious Council of the Caucasus said that he wants to get acquainted with the documents to be signed, only after which he will decide whether he will participate in the meeting in Yerevan or not.
