Athletes are still haunted by the famous “William Tell” trick shot by Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, who pulled off the stunt during a commercial shoot over a year ago, twice nailing a metal bottle off of another man’s head with a powerful serve.
In an attempt to conduct a similar experiment, former world no. 1 tennis player Serena Williams tweeted a video of her trying to hit a bottle off her partner Sasha’s head — which gets him in the stomach instead.
“Do u guys need to laugh? Watch my practice today!” the good sport tweeted on Dec. 11.
As for the Federer stunt (in the video below), though some may believe it was fake, none of those present at the shoot have confirmed or denied its truthfulness, reports Newsru.com.
“Yeah. Well, there’s a lot of debate at the moment, you know,” Federer said last August. “You know how it is with magicians. They don’t tell how their tricks work, you know.”
