Backing Sasun Mikaelyan not on Dashnaktsutyun’s Agenda

Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun or ARF-D) Supreme Council spokesperson Spartak Smbatyan, speaking to Epress.am earlier today, said that reports of ARF-D backing Armenian National Congress representative Sasun Mikaelyan (pictured) in the upcoming Hrazdan mayoral elections are false.

“That issue is not on our agenda,” he said.

Recall, local daily Hraparak, citing its sources in the ARF-D, today reported that ARF-D would back Mikaelyan’s candidacy in the mayoral elections.
