The current mayor of Hrazdan is a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), and the HHK in Armenia today is a party of thieves and bandits, said Levon Zurabyan, coordinator of the day-to-day affairs of the Armenian National Congress (HAK), speaking to journalists in Yerevan today about the Feb. 12 mayoral elections in Hrazdan.
Participating in the upcoming elections for this northeastern city in Armenia are current mayor Aram Danielyan and independent candidate, HAK member Sasun Mikaelyan.
According to Zurabyan, the election in Hrazdan is a good opportunity to come together to “put an end to the governing of Republican thieves.”
“Because there’s a strong candidate. Sasun Mikaelyan is a strong candidate… no one disputes this… that he’s popular. Even today it’s clear, that if there isn’t serious fraud, he has to win. If you speak to any Hrazdan resident, it’s an obvious fact. And this creates a huge opportunity for everyone to record yet another pivotal victory against this party of thieves,” he said.
