Armenia’s Airports Cancel Flights Due to Snow

Flights from Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport and Gyumri’s Shirak International Airport have been cancelled since early this morning due to heavy snowfall in the country, the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia informed Epress.am earlier today.

“All flights have been cancelled because of the snow; visibility is normal. We are waiting for the snow to stop [falling] so that we can carry out all take-offs and landings. There are no crowds in the airport; everyone was previously informed about the situation,” said the Civil Aviation press spokesperson.
