Employees of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense have been told they must memorize Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s official address for 2012. The brief statement was published in a 2012 calendar distributed to all staff, several defense ministry employees informed Epress.am.
Employees must be able to memorize then write down the full statement, while a specially created committee checks the work and makes sure no one’s cheating during the “exam”. If employees don’t take the exam, they will be reprimanded or will receive a written warning.
Epress.am was unable to confirm this news with the ministry prior to being published: Neither the defense ministry’s press division or the ministry’s spokesperson Davit Karapetyan responded to any calls.
