An Armenian delegation of 13 people will attend the 2nd plenary session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Baku later this week, member of the Azerbaijani delegation to Euronest PA, MP Fuad Muradov told Baku-based Trend news agency on Wednesday. He said the Armenian delegation consists of 10 deputies and three aides.
The plenary session is set for Apr. 3–4; however, the delegation will be in the Azerbaijani capital from Apr. 1–4 to attend Euronest committee meetings ahead of the plenary session.
Azerbaijan has provided a full guarantee of security of the Armenian delegation, said Muradov.
The Baku session of the Euronest PA will be the first to be held outside the EU. Earlier it was planned that the session would be held in May. Euronest includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Recall, members of Azerbaijan’s National Assembly (Milli Məclis) Rovshan Rzayev, Faraj Guliyev and Azay Guliev came to Yerevan in February to participate in a meeting of the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly‘s Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society.
