In Oct. 2013, as compared to Sept. 2013, there was a growth of 0.3% in Armenia's consumer market, according to the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia.
The price of food products (which includes alcohol and cigarettes) in this period rose by 0.3%, while non-food products increased by 1.4%. However, tariffs for services decreased by 0.3%.
Compared to Dec. 2012, consumer prices in Oct. 2013 rose by 3.5%, which includes an increase in the price of food products by 0.2%; non-food products, by 3.0%; services, by 10%.
