The rainbow flag, widely recognized as representing gay pride as well as peace, made a second appearance in Armenia's history during a public-political event: at the march dedicated to Human Rights Day on Dec. 10. The first time the flag was carried in a march was during the protest connected to Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Armenia.
