Former Head of Armenia’s Public TV Now Advisor to Foreign Minister

Former Chair of the Council of the Armenian Public Television and Radio Company Alexan Harutyunyan has been appointed as advisor to Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, he informed Epress.am. Note, local daily Hraparak in its issue today speculated about this appointment.

According to our sources in the foreign ministry, Harutyunyan earlier turned down the position of Armenia's ambassador to Poland.

In the mid-90s, Harutyunyan worked as a second, then first secretary at Armenia's embassy in France; from 1998–99, he served as the second Armenian president's Chief of Staff; and from 1999–2003 he was an advisor to the President of the Republic of Armenia.
