It's obvious that at this moment there are visible differences in the approaches and resolution of issues between the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and the Armenian National Congress (HAK), reads a written statement issued by BHK leader Gagik Tsarukyan's press spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan.
The BHK finds that its actions "should be consistent with Gagik Tsarukyan's speech at the BHK congress and the demands of the people."
"BHK's approaches are based first and foremost on the unacceptability of the government's adopted economic policies, which have shaped the current reality," reads the statement issued after yesterday's meeting between the two parties.
HAK deputy chair Levon Zurabyan yesterday called the meeting "productive," noting that his party presented its vision of future developments.
"We didn't hide our point of view: the country is in a deep crisis and the only solution is the removal of [Armenian President] Serzh Sargsyan's regime, as well as holding snap presidential and parliamentary elections, resulting in a legitimate government that will be accountable to the people," he had said.
