Opposition Parties to Introduce No Confidence Motion in Parliament on April 26

The four non-ruling parliamentary factions — Armenian National Congress (HAK), Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Heritage Party, and Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF-D or Dashnaktsutyun) — intend to introduce a motion of no confidence in the government in the agenda of the April 28 meeting of the National Assembly. This news was conveyed to reporters by the head of the HAK faction, Levon Zurabyan, after today's meeting of the four parties.

The parties agreed to start collecting signatures, in order to introduce the issue in parliament, he said.

Zurabyan also mentioned that the parties decided to develop a program of social, economic, and political steps that will be implemented by the government that will replace the current government after it is removed from office.
