In Armenia, 2,000 fewer students applied to universities this year than last year, said Yerevan State University (YSU) admissions committee secretary Vachagan Galstyan at a press conference earlier today.
In YSU alone, 400 fewer students applied this year as compared to last year, he said.
According to Galstyan, there is a sufficient flow of applicants to the faculties of mathematics, linguistics, and informatics; however, there are few applicants to the areas of study of psychology, art, Russian philology, and philosophy.
