It is still unclear where a bear found on the streets of Yerevan on Monday evening came from and to whom he belongs.
The bear was picked up from the vicinity of Spitak Kentron swimming pool at 22/1 Halabyan Street, not too far from the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, and taken to the Yerevan Zoo. The RA Ministry of Emergency Situations [AM] and the press office of the Yerevan Zoo informed Epress.am that they do not know who is the bear's owner.
"They called us from the Ministry of Emergency Situations; we moved the bear to the park [i.e. the zoo]. He's stressed; it'll be clear after a few days whether he's stable or not. I can only say that he is about a year-and-a-half years old. The rest will be clear in a few days. We also are going to wait for the owner to appear," said Yerevan Zoo press officer Karine Muradyan.
Note, earlier News.am reported that "according to the agency's sources," the bear lives at the zoo.
