Eleven activists who attempted to occupy the historic Afrikyan (also known as Afrikyanov) house yesterday evening were detained by police and forced to leave their mobile phones, documents, and other personal belongings at the police station. Some of the young activists struggled to convince police officers to return their house keys. This news was conveyed to Epress.am by activist Vahe Grigoryan.
Police informed Epress.am that the activists' personal belongings were confiscated because they were detained on suspicion of violating the law.
