Situation in Chinari Relatively Calm Today, Assures Mayor

The situation in the village of Chinari in Tavush marz (province) was relatively calm today, village mayor Samvel Saghoyan informed Epress.am earlier today. Note, Armenian media reported this morning that Chinar continues to experience heavy shelling. 

"There's nothing unusual; they're always shooting, but is fine in the village now; there's no shooting. They are shooting only in the direction of the military posts," said the mayor over the phone at around 4:20 pm.
